- Remain hands-on with architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Build rapid prototypes as well as scalable production applications that create measurable business value.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct code and architecture reviews, and mentor engineers.
The Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Agentic AI Engineer with 10+ years of software engineering experience. The role involves building AI agents, RAG platforms, and knowledge-driven applications using Python, LangChain, vector databases, and graph databases.
You will contribute across the technology stack—from data ingestion and retrieval to APIs, event-driven services, cloud infrastructure, and production deployment.
Skills:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with strong recent hands-on development in Python.
- Practical experience building Agentic AI applications using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of agent orchestration, tool calling, memory, planning, state management, human-in-the-loop workflows, and error recovery.
- Hands-on experience designing production RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, citations, and evaluation.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Qdrant, or pgvector.
- Experience with graph databases and graph-based retrieval using Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or similar technologies.
- Experience integrating commercial or open-source LLMs and optimizing prompts, model responses, latency, and cost.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps tools.
- Significant experience implementing and monitoring web services and APIs, including REST, SOAP, or RPC.
- Familiarity with network protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, and DNS.
- Experience with relational and non-relational data stores.
- Strong knowledge of coding practices, design patterns, distributed systems, security, and architectural trade-offs.
- First-hand understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Non-Technical:
- Passionate about emerging AI technologies and their practical business impact.
- Strong verbal and written English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to process complex information and present it clearly and simply.
- Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Committed to engineering excellence through practices such as DRY, TDD, CI, and code reviews.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
