About the role
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable and high-performance backend applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable software solutions and contribute to the overall technical direction of the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java-based applications.
- Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
- Develop and implement microservices architecture to support modular and scalable systems.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and support their technical growth.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices in software development.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), and Hibernate.
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases such as MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with Golang for building scalable backend services.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
