Sr Cloud Developer

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Developer with deep expertise in AWS cloud-native services and strong proficiency in AWS CDK with Java. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions leveraging AWS-managed services such as MSK (Managed Streaming for Kafka), DynamoDB, Aurora RDS, API Gateway, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

You will work closely with architecture, DevOps, and development teams to drive automation, implement best practices, and modernize applications using serverless and microservices-based architectures.

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS CDK (Java).
• Build and manage event-driven architectures using AWS MSK (Kafka).
• Develop and optimize data persistence layers using DynamoDB and Aurora RDS.
• Design and implement serverless APIs with API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS X-Ray.
• Ensure cloud security best practices, including IAM roles, encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance and costs across AWS workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvements.

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years focused on AWS cloud-native development.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS CDK using Java for IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
• Expertise in AWS MSK (Kafka), DynamoDB, Aurora RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Experience building event-driven and serverless architectures.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of networking, IAM, security groups, VPCs, and AWS best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks in AWS.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
