About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled and product-focused Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Marketplace Portal team. In this role, you will own complex frontend initiatives end-to-end, architect scalable frontend systems, and drive technical excellence across the platform. You will operate with strong problem-solving, architectural awareness, and product thinking, while influencing decisions across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex frontend features and modules.
- Design scalable, reusable component architectures and frontend patterns.
- Optimize performance (rendering, bundle size, responsiveness) and implement efficient data-fetching and caching strategies (React Query).
- Drive adoption of observability (Web Vitals, OpenTelemetry) for proactive issue detection.
- Write and enforce high-quality, testable code, improving unit and E2E coverage (Playwright).
- Establish and evolve state management patterns (Zustand or similar).
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and backend teams to shape requirements, APIs, and user experience.
- Mentor engineers, contribute to standards, and influence frontend best practices.
- Leverage and advocate AI coding companions to improve development velocity, code quality, and delivery outcomes.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience in frontend development.
- Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Deep experience with state management and data-fetching (Zustand, React Query, or similar).
- Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization (rendering, memoization, bundling).
- Experience building scalable frontend applications and component architectures.
- Strong experience with testing (unit + E2E, Playwright preferred).
- Experience with frontend observability and monitoring.
- Ability to independently drive ambiguous problems to solutions.
- Strong collaboration and ability to influence technical decisions.
- Proven ability to effectively use AI tools to improve productivity and delivery.
