We are looking for a highly energetic and people-centric HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our founding team. Reporting directly to the Head of HR / Founder, you will play a critical role in shaping employee experience, culture, performance, and people operations as we scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys building people practices from the ground up.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Business Partnering and Employee Experience:

  • Partner closely with business leaders and managers to drive a high-performance and people-first culture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee engagement, performance management, career growth, and team effectiveness.
  • Support managers in handling employee relations matters and challenging people conversations.

Talent and Performance Management:

  • Drive performance review cycles, talent assessments, promotion discussions, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms and development programs that support employee growth.
  • Use people analytics and insights to improve engagement, retention, and overall team health.

HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle:

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmations, policy administration, and exits.
  • Ensure seamless execution of HR processes and maintain a positive employee experience throughout the journey.
  • Partner with leadership to continuously improve HR policies, systems, and workflows.

Culture and Organisational Development:

  • Design and execute employee engagement, culture-building, and wellness initiatives.
  • Help establish scalable HR practices, rituals, and frameworks that support rapid business growth.
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen collaboration, accountability, and organisational effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of HRBP experience, preferably in high-growth product-based startups.
  • Strong understanding of performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and HR operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to people decisions.
  • Experience building and improving HR processes in scaling organisations is a plus.
