- Analyze existing systems and processes and identify value-added and non-value-added activities to improve plant performance YOY
- Conceive, design, develop, and test innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives
- Evaluate new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as an input for scheduling methods, performance metrics, and financial standards
- Uphold the company’s reputation by delivering innovative solutions while adhering to local and national regulations
- Manage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, mentor fellow engineers/ technician
Expert specialized in a specific high-tech area of knowledge for industrialization/manufacturing (LM, MTM, ergonomics, simulation tools, cost analysis, etc. ) in a plant.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
BE/ M.SC/ Mechanical or Industrial engineering
Job Related Experience:
6-8 yrs
Business Understanding:
The Industrial Engineer is a middle level position and involves the employee to be responsible for the complete designing of the production line and ensuring that it meets the capacity requirement and supporting Indian Manufacturing group on Industrial engineering needs.
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills):
Conducting the Time study & establishing the capacity & production norms, Development of new Layouts & also improvement of current layouts, Productivity improvement programs, Vendor support functions,Lean manufacturing &, value stream approach, cost reductions, Execution of New Projects, new factory, System development, Infrastructure development, Taking part in cross functional team activities – Six sigma, TDRE / SGA, Improving the Packing & shipment activities, Material handilng & storage, Co-ordinating for ssafety & Ergonomic improvement activities.

- Interprets simulation models and use the information to optimize processes
