Sr Millwork Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Millwork Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, production drawings, and technical documentation for custom millwork and cabinetry projects. You will work closely with project managers, production teams, and senior engineers to deliver high-quality millwork solutions while ensuring compliance with project specifications and manufacturing standards.

• Prepare 2D shop drawings and detailed production drawings for custom millwork projects.
  
• Interpret architectural, construction, and interior design drawings.
  
• Create detailed drawings for cabinets, wardrobes, furniture, counters, doors, and other custom woodwork.
  
• Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and production teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback and internal review comments.
  
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, and hardware schedules.
  
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
  
• Maintain project documentation, drawing records, and revision history.
  
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and project execution.
  
• Assist in resolving design, detailing, and production-related issues.
  

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  
• 2–5 years of experience in Millwork, Furniture Detailing, CAD Drafting, or Custom Woodwork.
  
• Mandatory: Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  
• Experience preparing shop drawings, production drawings, and technical documentation.
  
• Knowledge of Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, SolidWorks, or SketchUp is an added advantage.
  
• Good understanding of woodworking materials, cabinetry, joinery techniques, and hardware.
  
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
  
• Experience preparing Bill of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, and hardware schedules.
  
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and CNC production is preferred.
  
• Knowledge of North American or European Millwork Standards is an added advantage.
  
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
