About the role
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, along with automation frameworks such as Playwright and/or Selenium.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Test web and mobile applications across different devices and environments.
- Perform testing on at least one mobile OS: Android or iOS.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members.
- Analyze test results and troubleshoot automation failures.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, execution, and release validation.
- Improve test automation coverage and contribute to building scalable QA processes.
- Ensure product quality across new features, enhancements, and production releases.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in software testing/QA automation.
- Strong programming/scripting experience in at least one of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Mandatory hands-on testing experience with at least one of Android or iOS.
- Good understanding of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
- Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong understanding of defect lifecycle and test case management.
- Good knowledge of API testing and basic debugging concepts.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and CI/CD processes is preferred.
