Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer/Manager to oversee quality assurance for EIB-based (Enterprise Integration Bus) services, including ERP, cloud, and application integration workflows. This contract-to-hirerole will lead QA strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of testing processes across sprint cycles and integration releases.
You will be responsible for driving test planning, managing manual and automated test cases, tracking defects, and mentoring QA team members while ensuring enterprise-grade quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and implement test strategy and QA plans for EIB-based integration solutions • Lead test case design, execution, and coverage for APIs, workflows, and data integrations • Manage defect lifecycle and coordinate with development teams for resolution • Oversee test automation efforts, ensuring alignment with CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with project managers and developers for sprint-level QA execution • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare traceability documentation • Monitor and report on quality metrics, coverage, and testing status • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and integration testing standards • Mentor junior QA engineers and support team onboarding and QA best practices • Work closely with onshore leads to align testing goals with delivery milestones
Required Qualifications
• 8–12 years of experience in QA engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a lead or managerial capacity
• Proven experience testing integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica) and enterprise workflows
• Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, Rest Assured) and test case management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail)
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments, automated regression testing, and build validation • Strong understanding of data validation, transformation rules, and backend test scripting
(SQL, Python, etc.) • Excellent communication, documentation, and defect triaging skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience testing ERP (JDE), Salesforce, eCommerce, or PIM integrations • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing basics • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2) in enterprise delivery • QA certifications (ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, etc.) are a plus
Contract-to-Hire Details
