About the role
Requirements:
- Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience.
- Expertise on the AWS cloud platform; provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring EKS, MSK, EC2, S3, and RDS services.
- Knowledge of networking on AWS (VPC, API Gateway, Load Balancers).
- Expertise in deployment tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Proficient in scripting in a popular language like Bash, YAML, JavaScript, or Python.
- Expertise in containerisation using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Excellent command over source configuration management tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab.
- Experience with SonarQube, JaCoCo, or similar tools for static code scanning.
- Experience with APM solutions like Prometheus, Amazon CloudWatch, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
- Good verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Preference for experience in a tech start-up (small company); experience with backend or frontend technologies is a plus.
