About the role
Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead the development of scalable, distributed backend systems that support real-time personalisation and ML inference.
- Design, build, and own high-throughput infrastructure from data pipelines to APIs, ensuring speed, reliability, and observability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, product, and go-to-market teams to translate AI innovation into production systems.
- Define technical standards and elevate engineering practices across the team, mentoring engineers through design and code reviews.
- Balance innovation and pragmatism, making smart trade-offs between scalability, latency, and time-to-market.
Requirements:
- We're looking for engineers who combine deep technical expertise with product intuition, builders who think at both system and user levels.
- B. Tech preferably in Computer Science from Top Tier colleges in India.
- 9+ years of backend software development experience with a strong command of system design and distributed systems.
- Expertise in Python, Go, or Java, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and modern cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Proven track record of owning and scaling production systems end-to-end.
- Experience building high-performance APIs, data processing systems, or ML infrastructure.
- A startup mindset bias for ownership, clarity in chaos, and a drive to ship meaningful work fast.
