About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and test full-stack solutions in a high-throughput, low-latency microservices environment.
- Lead technical discussions and drive scalable system design decisions.
- Translate product requirements into technical implementations.
- Enhance system observability through metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in on-call rotations and production support.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Java.
- Strong understanding of memory management, multithreading, thread pools, connection pools, profiling, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with Spring Boot and related Spring projects.
- Experience with DynamoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Redis, ValKey, or MemCache.
- Experience with Apache Kafka and/or AWS Kinesis.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Frontend experience with Node.js, React, NextJS, Express, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
