Job Overview: As a Senior RF Engineer at Netradyne, you will own RF performance and regulatory compliance for our video telematics devices (LTE, GNSS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). You will review PCB designs for RF and EMC risk, drive products through global certification, and be the go-to RF expert from schematic to mass production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own RF integration for cellular (LTE Cat-1/Cat-4/5G), GNSS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth subsystems, including antenna matching, front-end tuning and coexistence.
  • Work with antenna vendors on antenna selection, placement and OTA (TRP/TIS) performance.
  • Debug sensitivity, desense, harmonics and spurious emission issues on prototypes and production units.
  • Plan and drive regulatory certification end to end: FCC, ISED, CE/RED, UKCA, WPC/TEC and other regional approvals.
  • Manage carrier and industry certification (PTCRB, GCF, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile).
  • Own EMC/EMI (CISPR 32/35, CISPR 25, ISO 7637) and RF exposure (SAR/MPE) compliance; run pre-compliance tests and work with accredited labs to close failures.
  • Review schematics and PCB layouts for RF and EMC: stack-up, controlled impedance, grounding, shielding, via fencing, routing and keep-outs.
  • Define RF layout guidelines and checklists, and sign off designs before fabrication.
  • Define RF calibration and production test limits with manufacturing (CM/ODM) partners, and root-cause field RF issues.
  • Maintain test reports, technical files and Declarations of Conformity, and mentor junior engineers.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical or Communication Engineering.
  • 8+ years of hands-on RF hardware engineering experience on wireless products.
  • Led at least 2–3 products through FCC/CE (or equivalent) certification from first test to approval.
  • Strong RF fundamentals: transmission lines, Smith chart matching, link budgets, noise figure and linearity.
  • Proven experience reviewing multilayer PCB layouts for RF performance and EMC.
  • Hands-on with VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, EMI receiver and radio communication testers (CMW500/CMW100, MT8821C).
  • Working knowledge of FCC Part 15/22/24/27, ETSI EN 300 328, EN 301 489, EN 301 908 and CISPR 32/35.
  • Strong communication skills to work with test labs, vendors and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automotive or fleet telematics products (CISPR 25, ISO 7637, E-mark).
  • Carrier certification experience (PTCRB, AT&T, Verizon).
  • Experience with cellular modules and their RF integration.
  • OTA chamber testing experience.
  • Knowledge of India (WPC/TEC/BIS) and multi-region certification strategy.
