About the role
Requirements:
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience Strong proficiency in Java-based backend development.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience building event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and scaling high-throughput systems handling large volumes of events.
- Experience working with AWS-managed databases (e. g., Aurora or similar OLTP systems).
- Familiarity with containerized systems and Kubernetes ecosystems.
- Experience building real-time systems (e. g., usage tracking, billing, and metering pipelines).
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability principles.
Mandatory Skill Set:
- Must have experience in the FinTech (Finance) domain, preferably in Billing or Monetization.
- Must have experience in any Cloud technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Java/Golang for backend development.
- Deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem (compute, storage, distributed services).
- Experience designing large-scale event processing systems (hundreds of millions to billions of events).
- Experience building cloud commerce platforms, billing systems, or pricing engines.
- Familiarity with real-time usage metering, invoicing, or revenue systems.
- Experience working with Kubernetes-based observability signals (logs, infra events, metrics).
- Exposure to high-growth systems scaling from early stages to large production scale.
- Experience building multi-tenant, customer-facing cloud platforms.
