About the role

Key Responsibilities:· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the stores department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.· Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders or other documents.· Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and stock adjustments using appropriate software systems.· Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.· Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to ensure timely availability of materials and adherence to production schedules.· Monitor and optimize storage space utilization and ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.· Implement safety and security procedures to safeguard materials and maintain a clean and organized stores environment.· Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to reconcile physical stock with system records.· Prepare and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key performance indicators.· Train, supervise, and mentor stores staff to ensure high performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
