About the role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to lead structural design activities across Detail Design, Lofting, and Tolerancing domains for aircraft programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor structure design engineers.
- Own Detail Design, Lofting and GD&T deliverables.
- Develop 3D models, drawings, master geometry and engineering documentation.
- Perform tolerance analysis and manufacturability assessments.
- Coordinate with Stress, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality and Program teams.
- Lead customer reviews and technical discussions.
- Manage engineering changes and configuration control.
- Drive continuous improvement and weight optimization initiatives.
Required Technical Skills
- Aircraft Structure Design and ATA knowledge.
- CATIA V5, ENOVIA and PLM tools.
- Lofting and Master Geometry expertise.
- GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Metallic and Composite structure design experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
5-10 years in Aerospace Structure Design with team leadership experience.
