JobDescription:
TheStructuralEngineer (Contract)isresponsibletoplanandconductindependentworkrequiringjudgmentintheevaluation,selection, applicationandadaptation of engineeringtechniques,proceduresandcriteria.
DutiesandResponsibilities:
- Performstructuraldesignandanalysiscalculationsusinggoverningcodesandstandards,engineeringformulas,skills,andexperience.
- ProvidedrawingfordesignsandproducesketchestoincorporateindrawingsbyDesigners/Drafters
- Researchdesignoptionsanddocumentfindingsforprojectleadengineer
- Coordinatework withotherdisciplinessuchasmechanicalandelectrical
- Usecomputer-assistedengineeringanddesignsoftwareandequipmenttoprepareengineeringdesigndocuments
- Readandunderstandbuildingcodes,constructionspecificationsanddrawings
- PromptlyreportanycriticalriskstotheHigherups.

SkillsandExperience:
- GraduatepreferablyPostGraduatequalificationinStructural/CivilEngineering
- Overtwotothreeyearsofexperiencewithadvanceknowledgeinciviland/orstructuralengineering
- ExperienceinMNC'sinPower,Oil&Gas,Material&Mineralbeneficiationindustriesisdesirable
- Stronganalytical,problem solvingandcommunicationskills.
- Knowledgeofcivil/structuraldesignstandards(ACI,AISC,ASCE,EURO,BS,ASCODE)
- Highlevelof workingknowledgeinStaadprolatestversion
- Knowledgeofconnectiondesignsoftware’ssuchasLimcon,Masterseries&RamconnectionwillbeaddedAdvantage
- Shouldbe opentovisitClientProjectsiteacrosstheglobe, asand whenneedarises.
