in India. A pure digital insurance distribuƟon business, it has become the 2nd largest and the fastest-
growing Insure-Tech player by building an extremely differenƟated approach from incumbent players -
both tradiƟonal insurance companies and new-age digital players.
The approach has been to completely digiƟze the consumer journey but using Agents. We are currently
offering Motor, Health and Life Insurance on their platiorm. Within 5 years of launch, now 800 Cr. plus
of annualized business, with more than 2500+ employees, 65000+ Agents and does business in more
than 650 ciƟes using its mobile app and web platiorm. RenewBuy will be a 2000 Cr annualized business
in 12 months, with 3500+ employees and operaƟng in 50+ ciƟes and keep growing further from there.
RenewBuy plans to extend its insurance platiorm to other similar internaƟonal markets in the near
future.
The company recently raised $40M from Dai chi Insurance and in the past raised $45M from Apis
Partners. We are seeking to enhance our presence in 1000+ locaƟons across the country and increase
the agent base to 2 lac on our platiorm. Recently we have unveiled Raj Kumar Rao as our Brand
ambassador with our brand proposiƟon "Smart Tech ,Right Advice".
Job DescripƟon:
We are seeking a detail-oriented motor claims surveyor to join our team. The surveyor will be
responsible for assessing insurance claims remotely using online inspecƟon methods. The ideal
candidate will possess strong analyƟcal skills, excellent communicaƟon abiliƟes, and the ability to
interpret policy terms and condiƟons accurately.
ResponsibiliƟes:
1. Remote Assessment: UƟlize online inspecƟon tools and platiorms to remotely assess and verify
damages reported in insurance claims. Review survey photos and documentaƟon uploaded by
workshops or customers to determine the extent of losses incurred.
2. Policy Adherence: Interpret and apply policy terms and condiƟons accurately during the
assessment process. Ensure that claim settlements align with policy terms and condiƟons
3. VerificaƟon of Damages: ScruƟnize survey photos and documentaƟon to verify the damages
reported, conducƟng thorough assessments to ensure accuracy and fairness in claim
settlements.
4. Neutrality and ImparƟality: Maintain a neutral stance throughout the assessment process,
ensuring that the interests of both the insurer and policyholder are upheld. Avoid conflicts of
interest and disclose any potenƟal biases.
5. Timely CompleƟon: Adhere to established Ɵmelines for compleƟng remote assessments,
ensuring that survey reports are submitted promptly to facilitate efficient claim processing.
6. CommunicaƟon: Communicate effecƟvely with workshops, customers, insurers and internal
stakeholders to gather necessary informaƟon, clarify details, and provide updates on claim
assessments.
QualificaƟons/Requirements:
Bachelor's/Diploma in Automobile or equivalent work experience.
Experience as a motor claims surveyor or in a bodyshop team of a workshop with knowledge of
motor insurance processes.
In-depth understanding of labour and painƟng charges related to vehicle repairs.
Familiarity with online inspecƟon tools and platiorms preferred.
Strong analyƟcal and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communicaƟon and interpersonal abiliƟes.
Ability to work independently and prioriƟze tasks effecƟvely.
Proficiency in using digital communicaƟon tools and software.
