Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Architect with deep expertise in both hardware and software for two-wheeler connected TCU and digital cluster development. This individual will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and architecting next-generation two-wheeler connectivity solutions while working closely with our ODM partners to develop prototypes and commercial solutions. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, subject matter expert (SME), and hands-on engineer with an in-depth understanding of automotive-grade hardware and software components used in two-wheeler and four-wheeler telematics, infotainment, and cluster solutions.Key Responsibilities:
  • System Architecture & Design: Architect and design end-to-end system solutions for two-wheeler connected TCU and digital cluster products, integrating hardware, software, and cloud connectivity.
  • Hardware Expertise: Lead hardware component selection, PCB design validation, and overall system integration for cluster systems, TCUs, and telematics control units.
  • Software Expertise: Define and oversee the development of embedded software, firmware, and Android-based HMI applications for two-wheeler clusters and TCUs.
  • Connectivity & Communication: Architect solutions for 4G/5G cellular connectivity, V2X, GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and CAN bus integration.
  • Collaboration with ODM Partners: Work closely with ODM/OEM partners in India and globally to develop prototypes, validate solutions, and drive product industrialization.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with automotive security standards, homologation regulations, and functional safety (ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR, UNECE R155/R156).
  • Testing & Validation: Oversee hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and real-world validation of connected TCU and cluster solutions.
  • Integration with Cloud & Edge Computing: Architect data pipelines for cloud-based vehicle telematics, OTA (Over-the-Air) updates, and real-time diagnostics.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Support the development roadmap, PLM process, and feature roadmap for mass-market and premium two-wheeler TCUs.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Guide engineering teams, drive innovation, and foster technical excellence.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive system architecture, particularly in connected vehicle telematics, digital instrument clusters, and TCUs.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive-grade processors and chipsets, including Qualcomm (QWM 2290), NXP, Renesas, and MediaTek solutions.
  • Expertise in embedded software development using Android, Linux, RTOS, and AUTOSAR.
  • Hands-on experience with BSP development, kernel tuning, and firmware development for automotive applications.
  • Deep understanding of 4G/5G cellular communication protocols, V2X, GNSS, Bluetooth, and CAN (Controller Area Network).
  • Proficiency in digital cluster design with TFT, LCD, OLED, and touch-based HMI interfaces.
  • Experience with telematics security protocols, secure boot, encryption, key management, and compliance with UNECE R155/R156 cybersecurity regulations.
  • Strong background in automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR, A-SPICE, Cybersecurity standards).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing frameworks (AWS, Azure, or private cloud) for vehicle data analytics and OTA updates.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a hands-on approach to hardware and software integration.
  • Experience working with Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, ODMs, and OEMs in two-wheeler and four-wheeler industries.
  • Proficient in automotive networking protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS diagnostics, MQTT, CoAP, gRPC).
  • Ability to travel occasionally to work with global teams and partners.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with AI/ML-based predictive analytics for vehicle diagnostics and telematics data.
  • Knowledge of Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and infotainment software stacks.
  • Prior experience with modular TCU architecture and system partitioning for cost-effective solutions.
  • Patent filings or research in connected mobility, telematics, or intelligent vehicle systems are a plus.
