About the role
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain the Systems Engineering framework (requirements traceability, verification & validation plans) in compliance with standards defined.
• Drive the system architecture definition, functional decomposition, and interface management across propulsion subsystems
• Support verification & validation activities by providing system-level compliance evidence, participating in design reviews (PDR, CDR, ...)
• Coordinate with Product Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure system integrity, technical consistency throughout development and production.
• Manage the technical baseline and configuration control for the propulsion system, ensuring proper documentation and change management.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering degree or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in systems integration, requirement management, and certification for propulsion systems.
• Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, mechanical design, integrity and heat transfer.
• Fluent in English
• Experience: 5-15 years or more.
Skills:
• Knowledge of gas turbine engine subsystem design principles, including Engine Control, Engine Start, Fuel, Oil, and Pneumatic Systems.
• Knowledge of engine starting systems, including air turbine starters, electric start systems, accessory gearbox interfaces, start sequencing, and transient engine operability requirements.
• Excellent systems thinking and the ability to balance technical depth with program-level vision.
• Good communication and presentation skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors. Ability to solve problems, prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary
