About the role
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend systems using Java.
- Drive technical architecture and design decisions for high-traffic applications.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers while ensuring high code quality and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining engineering standards.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, and scalable system design.
- Good understanding of databases (MySQL/NoSQL) and caching technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms, message queues, and containerization is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
