About the role
We are hiring an experienced Data Project Manager to lead large-scale Data Migration and Cloud Modernisation Programs involving migration from legacy platforms such as Oracle & Informatica to modern cloud ecosystems including GCP, BigQuery, and dbt.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Oracle and Informatica migration programs to GCP.
- Drive project planning, governance, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Architects, QA, Business Analysts, and SMEs.
- Oversee migration planning, testing, reconciliation, cutover, and production deployment.
- Ensure successful implementation of data governance, metadata, lineage, and quality frameworks.
- Manage executive reporting, steering committee reviews, and delivery milestones.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Data Project Management.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale Cloud Data Migration and Data Transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder, vendor, and delivery management capabilities.
- Experience with Collibra, Alation, or Informatica Data Governance.
- Prior experience in Banking, BFSI, Insurance, or Healthcare domains.
- PMP, PRINCE2 Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications.
- Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Platforms, or AWS.
- Experience in Data Project / Program Management, including Data Migration and Data Modernisation Programs.
- Strong expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform), BigQuery, Oracle Database, Informatica PowerCenter, and dbt.
- Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, ETL/ELT Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Data Modelling.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum Delivery.
