About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end SaaS integration solutions.
- Map client integration landscapes across core, data, API, messaging, and cloud environments.
- Design APIs and event-driven integration patterns.
- Work with Kafka, REST services, data pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Partner directly with client architects and engineers.
- Translate complex requirements into clear technical designs.
- Support implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and go-live.
- Improve integration accelerators, documentation, and implementation practices.
- Bring client needs back into product and engineering.
- Build toward becoming a trusted technical advisor to banking clients.
Requirements:
- Typically 3 - 6 years of relevant engineering/integration experience.
- We are particularly interested in high-performing engineers from the Big 4/technology consulting organizations, global product and SaaS organizations, and engineering-led companies with demanding quality standards.
- Strong capability in several of the following is expected: Java and enterprise application development, REST APIs and API design, Kafka and event-driven systems, application/data integration, Azure/AWS/GCP, security and networking concepts, SaaS architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Banking/core banking integration experience will differentiate exceptional candidates.
- Strong academic foundations in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines from highly regarded institutions are preferred alongside demonstrable engineering achievement.
