About the role
You'll work on cloud software that helps technical teams collaborate and move faster: an established, in-production product that real customers rely on every day. You'll work directly with leadership who built products at Meta and Apple, on a team where you own meaningful work and your decisions have a direct impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team day to day, owning delivery and technical direction.
- Architect projects end-to-end and make high-leverage technical decisions across the stack, in ReactJS, NodeJS, and AWS.
- Set up the engineering processes, standards, and rituals that let the team ship fast without breaking things.
- Mentor and grow engineers, raising the bar across the team.
- Break complex, ambiguous problems into clear plans and drive them to done.
- Make deliberate tradeoffs between creating tech debt and delivering business requirements.
Requirements:
- 6 years of full-stack engineering experience (strong senior engineers ready to step into a lead role are welcome).
- Deep, hands-on command of ReactJS, NodeJS, and AWS.
- A track record of technical leadership: architecting systems, mentoring engineers, and setting up engineering processes.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent communication and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bonus if you know: TypeScript, SQL, ExpressJS.
