About the role
Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyse the business requirement.
- Able to identify the requirement and propose a good alternative solution to the business requirement.
- Design and develop Odoo apps (new module development, customisation).
- Proven track record of always learning and growing; proactive attitude.
Requirements:
- Techno-functional expertise is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of core Python, OOP concepts, PostgreSQL, Odoo APIs, advanced configurations, and the Linux platform.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies, and the ability to integrate new things within Odoo.
- Experience integrating Odoo (OpenERP) modules with various formats, including flat-file (CSV), XML, and XML-RPC and third-party applications.
- Knowledge of core ERP components, both technical and functional.
- Exposure to software design and architecture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Linux OS is a must.
- Must have strong knowledge of core Python and programming concepts - Odoo framework knowledge.
- Knowledge of Linux-flavoured operating systems.
- Knowledge of different project life cycles.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills; independent contributor; self-motivated.
- Ability to communicate clearly. Fluent in English, written and spoken.
