About the role

1 Equipment Maintenance & TroubleshootingSupervise regular preventive maintenance and servicing of all machines (VR, arcade games, bowling equipment, rides).Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues.Maintain logs for service schedules, breakdowns, and repairs.Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently with minimal downtime.2. Team Leadership & TrainingManage and schedule the work of technicians and support staff.Train technical staff in equipment handling, safety, diagnostics, and repair.Ensure team readiness for emergency repairs or technical failures.3. Safety & ComplianceConduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and regulations.Collaborate with health and safety officers to address compliance issues.Implement protocols for ride and equipment shutdowns in case of malfunctions.4. Vendor & Inventory ManagementCoordinate with equipment suppliers and manufacturers for parts, upgrades, and warranties.Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.Evaluate and approve technical purchases within budget constraints.5. System Monitoring & ReportingMonitor system performance using diagnostic tools and software.Generate and present periodic maintenance and performance reports to senior management.Recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated or underperforming equipment.6. Guest Experience SupportSupport frontline teams in ensuring guests enjoy uninterrupted and safe experiences.Assist with resolving technical issues during live operations.Ensure minimal downtime during peak hours and events.7. Project & Upgrade ManagementOversee installation of new equipment or tech upgrades.Plan and implement modernization projects across VR, arcade, and bowling zones.Coordinate with IT teams for software and firmware updates on digital systems.🛠️ Preferred Skills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and computer systems used in arcade and ride equipment.Experience with VR technology systems and hardware.Familiarity with bowling lane and pinsetter systems.Knowledge of safety compliance in amusement and gaming environments.Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
