About the role
- Own delivery: Plan and run client implementation projects end to end, covering scope, timelines, resources, risks and go-live.
- Lead client conversations: Act as the main point of contact for clients during delivery. Run kick-offs, requirement workshops, status reviews and escalations with business and IT stakeholders.
- Translate requirements: Convert client business processes into clear technical specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
- Manage integrations: Coordinate integrations with client ERPs, accounting and distributor systems, and the WhatsApp Business API. Understand data flows well enough to spot problems before they reach production.
- Work with engineering: Partner with developers, QA and Product on sprint planning, prioritization and release readiness. Keep delivery on track without losing quality.
- Manage change: Handle scope changes, trade-offs and expectations transparently, and keep leadership updated on project health.
- Improve the process: Build repeatable implementation playbooks, documentation and checklists so every rollout gets faster.
- Technical Depth: You can hold your own with engineers on architecture, APIs and data, and you know when an estimate doesn't add up.
- Client Presence: You are calm and credible in front of clients, from IT teams to business owners, especially when things go wrong.
- Clarity: You write crisp plans, specs and status updates that nobody has to read twice.
- Ownership: You treat a client's go-live as your own deadline. You don't wait to be told, you drive.
- Experience: 6–10 years in software delivery, with at least 3 years managing technical projects for external clients.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaaS products, REST APIs, integrations, databases and the software development lifecycle. A hands-on engineering background is a strong plus.
- Client Interaction: Proven experience managing client stakeholders, requirement gathering, demos and escalations.
- Project Management: Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint planning and tools such as Jira or similar.
- Plus: Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, Tally or others), B2B SaaS implementations, supply chain or distribution, or WhatsApp/AI products. PMP or Scrum certification is an advantage.
