About the role
Job Description: Air Traffic Controller (Test Rel) Roles & Responsibilities Monitor and direct the movement of aircraft on the ground and in the air to ensure safe distances between planes. Issue landing and takeoff instructions to pilots and relay weather, runway, and other critical information. Coordinate with airport staff, pilots, and other air traffic controllers to manage flight schedules and resolve conflicts. Utilize advanced IT systems and software to track aircraft positions and manage airspace efficiently. Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain accurate records of daily operations and incidents for reporting and analysis. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies. Minimum Qualification and Skills Certificate Course 1 (relevant to Air Traffic Control or Aviation Management). 1 to 4 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably with exposure to aviation or air traffic management systems. Proficiency in Advanced Java and related technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick, accurate decisions.
