Job Description: TIBCO EBX/ MDM Engineer - Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TIBCO EBX (MDM) Engineer to join our growing team
and play a crucial role in enhancing our data governance, data processing and analytics capabilities.
As an EBX/ MDM Engineer Lead you will be responsible for dealing with the most complex situations
related to development, design, implementation, and maintenance of our TIBCO EBX environment. You
will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers
to build efficient MDM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of TIBCO EBX MDM solution to develop
architecture, design, and implementation approach to deliver various master data domains
management on TIBCO EBX.
•
Install and configure MDM software to satisfy functional and technical requirements in
defining match/merge, workflow, user interfaces, security, access rules, etc.
•
Enhance solutions and tune the performance of TIBCO EBX environment.
•
Assist data architecture and data governance teams in strategizing and implementing
Master data, hierarchy and relationship with other entities, and reference data using TIBCO EBX.
•
Partners with Data Governance and engineering team members on technical
architecture and data integration patterns related to EBX implementation.
•
Act as an SME for MDM best practices, design patterns and standards to guide MDM
implementation.
•
Documents EBX best practices and drive the engineering team to implement those best
practices.
•
Educates engineering team and business stakeholders on EBX software capabilities and
limitations.
•
Provide on-call support as needed.
Qualifications:
•
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's Degree
preferred.
•
Hands-on experience implementing MDM using TIBCO EBX.
•
Expert level proficiency in MDM foundational and data modeling concepts.
•
Experience with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of TIBCO EBX MDM.
•
Experience working with data conversion, ETL/integration, database knowledge, and
SQL expertise.
•
Strong understanding of data governance and master data management principles.
•
Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate those into effective
technical solutions, strategic and tactical directions.
•
Ability to mentor and provide leadership to team members.
