About the role
- Responsibility for Global Component Ownership of Starter Motors, Alternators, Relays, Sensors, etc.
- Circuit Simulation experience with tools PSPICE, LT SPICE etc.
- Collect written or documented in other formats, component requirements based on feature/function/appearance requirements, and system/architecture/platform requirements.
- Write and be responsible for the Technical Requirements Specification connected to the component (Starter Motors, Alternators, Relays, Sensors, etc) according to the elicited requirements.
- Familiarity with EMC, ESD, and environmental standards (e.g., ISO 16750 , IEC 61000, ISO 11452 , etc ).
- Work together with Purchasing in the request for quotation and participate in the evaluation of technical solutions from the different suppliers and the selection of a supplier.
- Participate in the decision of which quality tools to use and in the usage of these quality tools, e.g., FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), PAA (Product Application Agreement), RTS (Review of Technical Specifications), etc., for the design and development of the component.
- Experience in the verification and validation process for component development.
- Interface to SQA: participate in PPAP(Production Part Approval Process).
- Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, LIN, etc
- Responsible for the design and development of the component w.r.t to the Technical Requirement with Quality, Delivery, Cost and Feature (QDCF)
- Responsible for the Maintenance (Aftermarket) of the component w.r.t to the component life cycle.
- Hands-on experience with CAD tool- UGNX is must
- Required experience includes 3D and 2D CAD modelling
- Should have good understanding of Machined Parts, Electrical Systems, Plastics, sheet metals, and wiring harness components.
