About the role
Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Mandatory: Strong working knowledge of WordPress or Shopify, including theme customization and frontend integration
- Experience in developing and customizing WordPress themes/plugins or Shopify themes
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Proficiency in UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, usability standards, and interaction design
- Experience in creating animations and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Develop, maintain, and enhance frontend applications using modern web technologies
- Design, customize, and optimize WordPress or Shopify-based websites based on business and client requirements
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive, and scalable user interfaces
- Design and implement reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
- Ensure technical feasibility and consistency of UI/UX designs across multiple devices and platforms
- Optimize applications for performance, speed, and scalability
- Collaborate with design, backend, content, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Communicate effectively with clients to refine requirements and secure design approvals
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve user experience and development workflows
- Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies, tools, and industry best practices
- Support and mentor junior team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing
- Participate in interviews and assist in training initiatives as and when required.
