The Underwriter will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization maintains a healthy risk portfolio while providing excellent service to our clients.

• Analyze and assess the risk of loan applications and insurance policies to determine eligibility and terms.
• Review financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with loan officers, brokers, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify any discrepancies.
• Utilize underwriting software and tools to streamline the evaluation process and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate underwriting decisions clearly and effectively to stakeholders, providing rationale for decisions made.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance underwriting processes.
• Participate in training and development programs to improve underwriting skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the development of underwriting guidelines and policies to improve efficiency and risk management.

• Familiarity with underwriting software and tools.

• Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in underwriting or risk management are a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and make sound decisions.
