About the role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement Unix-based systems and applications
2. Write efficient, scalable, and reliable code in Unix shell scripting languages (e.g., Bash, KornShell)
3. Develop and maintain system administration tools and scripts
4. Troubleshoot and resolve Unix system and application issues
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Unix systems with other technologies
6. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
7. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2. 3+ years of experience in Unix development and administration
3. Strong proficiency in Unix shell scripting languages (e.g., Bash, KornShell)
4. Experience with Unix operating systems (e.g., Solaris, AIX, HP-UX)
5. Familiarity with system administration tools and technologies (e.g., cron, awk, sed)
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Any Graduation
Nice to Have:
1. Experience with cloud-based Unix environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
2. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
3. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl)
