About the role

We are a small, fast-moving product team building web-based B2B SaaS applications. We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer to help design and polish our products — current and upcoming. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of real, hands-on product design experience (ideally at a startup), who ships work rather than just studies it. You should work efficiently using modern AI design tools (e.g., Claude, Figma AI), and have a sharp eye for good design: you study top-tier products and websites, pull the right references, and turn them into clean, consistent screens.

Responsibilities

  • Refine and evolve the product UX: audit interfaces, iterate on usability, and raise the bar on visual polish.
  • Design end-to-end product flows for data-dense screens: dashboards, tables, multi-step workflows, search, and settings.
  • Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity screens in Figma.
  • Build and maintain a reusable design system aligned with shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS (tokens, components, states, responsive behavior) to ensure seamless translation into code.
  • Support the design-to-code handoff with annotated specs and clear component structure, collaborating closely with engineering.
  • Apply the same design system and UX standards to additional products and internal tools as they come online.
  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG AA compliance) and visual consistency across all products.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 1+ years of product/UX design experience in B2B SaaS, with a portfolio of shipped work.
  • Strong experience designing complex, data-dense interfaces (e.g., dashboards, tables, multi-step workflows), not primarily marketing pages or consumer mobile apps.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma: auto-layout, variables/tokens, components, and prototyping.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining scalable design systems/component libraries.
  • Familiarity with modern component-driven front-ends (React / Next.js) and design-to-code workflows; comfortable designing to a Tailwind / shadcn-style system.
  • Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and end-to-end flow ownership.
  • Self-directed and reliable in a remote engagement.

Portfolio & Proof of Work (Required)

  • A live portfolio link — applications without one will be considered incomplete.
  • 2–3 detailed case studies covering B2B SaaS or data-dense product work, showing problem, process, and outcome (not just final screens).
  • At least one example of a design system or component library you built or maintained.
  • A Figma file (view access or representative sample) demonstrating structure, auto-layout hygiene, and component thinking.
  • Bonus (strongly preferred):
    • Experience with complex, multi-feature products.
    • Evidence of direct collaboration with developers on design handoff.
    • Self-directed, fast-paced mindset, accustomed to startup velocity.
