About the role
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in validation and test development for embedded systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for embedded software.
- Experience in independently understanding and following test strategy, test plan, and test specification.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, pipeline development, and automation.
- Knowledge of Jenkins administration and maintenance.
- Python scripting experience.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of low-level drivers, middleware, and example applications.
- Execute tests on real hardware as well as in simulated or pre-silicon environments, where applicable.
- Analyse test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to debug and resolve defects.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, test automation, and test infrastructure.
- Validate software behaviour across different MCU variants, boards, and configurations.
- Ensure delivered software meets quality, reliability, and maintainability expectations.
- Document test results clearly and communicate findings across teams.
- Working knowledge of GIT or similar version control systems.
- Experience troubleshooting test environments.
- Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
