VP - Digital Transformation

We are seeking a strategic, business-facing technology leader for the position of Assistant Vice President, Business Applications and Digital Transformation. This role is designed for a technology thought leader- not just a platform owner- who can seamlessly unify SAP, Blue Yonder, and Salesforce into a single, forward-looking enterprise strategy. Acting as a direct partner to the CIO and executive leadership, you will own the business applications roadmap, driving workflow automation and measurable business value realisation across Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial domains.

The ideal candidate brings a foundational pedigree (ideally starting their career at SAP or top-tier consulting, followed by deep internal corporate IT leadership at manufacturing/consumer conglomerates like Asian Paints, M and M, etc. ) and possesses the deep technical empathy required to pressure-test architecture while maintaining boardroom credibility.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Enterprise Charter: Architect and own the multi-year applications vision, target-state architecture, and digital transformation roadmap across SAP, Blue Yonder, and Salesforce.
• Business Partnership and Value Realisation: Engage deeply with business functional heads to translate ambiguous corporate ambitions into clear, automated workflows with measurable ROI.
• SAP Ecosystem Evolution: Drive the technical and functional evolution of SAP (including S/4HANA transformations) across Finance, ERP, and core transaction flows.
• Supply Chain and CRM Modernisation: Lead the supply-chain technology roadmap (planning, forecasting, logistics via Blue Yonder) and customer-facing processes (via Salesforce ecosystem).
• Workflow Automation and AI Integration: Evaluate, pilot, and scale intelligent automation, GenAI, and data-driven workflows, separating hype from actual operational efficiency.
• People and Vendor Governance: Lead a direct team of 6-7 high-performing specialists while maintaining rigorous governance over global system integrators, tech budgets, and risk matrices.

Requirements:

• Leadership and Experience Profile: 16+ years of enterprise application experience, incorporating a blended background of early-career consulting/OEM exposure (e. g., SAP) followed by corporate business-side application ownership (e. g., large enterprise/manufacturing/manufacturing-allied business environments).
• In-Depth Workflow Mastery: Deep, granular understanding of functional workflows, core data structures, and standard operational friction points within SAP and Blue Yonder (Salesforce is a strong plus).
• Automation and Systems Thinking: Proven track record of re-engineering complex, multi-system enterprise workflows to reduce technical debt and maximise cross-platform agility.
• Data and AI Acumen: Strong grounding in enterprise data architecture, governance, and analytics platforms as foundational prerequisites for scaling AI-led decision intelligence.
• Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with a proven capacity to translate complex technology choices into business value metrics for C-suite alignment.
