About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned operations leader to head Consumer Electronics as a full P&L owner. This is a strategic, senior leadership role that will define the manufacturing roadmap, build the electronics supply chain, drive category profitability, and position the company as a dominant player in India's fast-growing appliance market.

KeyResponsibilities

1. P&LOwnership&BusinessStrategy
•OwnthefullP&Lforthe Appliancecategory—revenue,COGS,margins,andEBITDA

•Setannualproductiontargets,costreductiongoals,andcapacityexpansionplans

•Drivemakesvs.buydecisions,Identify&TieupwithoutsourceEMSpartners.

2.Manufacturing&OperationsExcellence

•Overseeend-to-end appliance manufacturing—PCBassembly,powerelectronics,coil assembly, final assembly, and testing

•DriveOEEimprovements,yieldenhancement,andwastereductionacrossproductionlines

•OverseeNPI(NewProductIntroduction)andDFM(DesignforManufacturability)processfornew SKUs

•EnsureallmanufacturingprocessescomplywithBISIS302-2-6andrelevantsafetystandards

3. Electronics&TechnologyLeadership
•Deepoversightofpowerelectronics—IGBTcircuits,resonancedesign,controlPCBs,andSMT lines

•Drivelocalisationofkeyelectroniccomponentstoimprovemarginsandreduceimportdependency

•PartnerwithR&Donnext-gen appliances products—multi-burner,commercial,andsmart- connected variants

4. SupplyChain&VendorManagement

•Buildandmanagestrategicvendorecosystemforelectroniccomponents,coils,glasstops,and casings

•LeadsourcingstrategyforIGBTs, micro controllers,capacitors,andPCBs—domesticallyand from SE Asia

•Negotiatelong-termsupplyagreements;ensurebusinesscontinuityandBOMcostreduction

5. TeamBuilding& Leadership
•Buildandleadahigh-performanceteamacrossoperations,quality,engineering,andsupplychain

•Driveacultureofaccountability,continuousimprovement(Kaizen/SixSigma),andoperational discipline

•Engagecross-functionallywithSales,Finance,andProductteamstoalignoncategorygrowth plans

Requirements
IdealCandidateProfile

•15–22yearsofexperienceinelectronics/consumerappliancemanufacturingwithatleast 2-3 years in a P&L or category leadership role

•Strongelectronicsfundamentals—hands-onunderstandingofpowerelectronics,PCBdesign, and IGBT-based systems

•Proventrackrecordofrunningansmallappliancemanufacturingverticalin similar companies.

•ExperiencemanagingEMSvendors/contractmanufacturersandbuildingdomesticsupplychains

•KnowledgeofBIScertification,CEmarking,andqualitymanagementsystems(ISO9001/IPC standards)

•Strongcommercialacumen—abilitytoreadP&Ls,drivecosttargets, andengagewithsenior business stakeholders
