About the role
- Operate vertical turret lathes for shaping metal pieces by turning, facing, drilling, and boring.
- Arrange tools and lathe attachments specific to the workpiece and job specifications.
- Set speeds and feeds correctly to optimize cutting efficiency and surface finish.
- Conduct frequent measurements to ensure dimensional accuracy of machined parts.
- Maintain machine upkeep including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Adhere strictly to safety and quality assurance protocols.
- Working Hours: 8 hours + 4 hours OT
