Role Overview
The Windows Server Administrator P2 is responsible for executing Windows Server administration migration activities and daytoday infrastructure operations across hybrid environments OnPrem VMware Hyper V Azure AWS The role requires strong handson capabilities in server management Active Directory patching automation and operational support within enterprisescale programs
Key Responsibilities
1 Windows Server Administration Operations
Perform OS debugging and recovery for Windows Servers
Manage server logs monitoring analysis and maintenance
Monitor and manage server disk space utilization and optimization
Perform software installation upgrade and removal activities
Execute backup and restore of servers and data filelevel and imagelevel
Support load distribution and dynamic capacity management
Perform server provisioning create VMs and deploy workloads
Conduct Windows cluster administration failover clusters HA configurations
2 Active Directory Identity Management
Manage and administer Domain Controllers
Perform Group Policy GPO creation modification and enforcement
Manage Active Directory replication health and troubleshooting

3 Security Hardening Compliance
Perform server hardening based on company customer security policies
Identify required OS service packs and patches for vulnerability mitigation
Review and validate patch compliance across servers
Configure and enforce antivirus rules and endpoint protection policies
Support audit readiness and compliance adherence
4 Patch Firmware Management
Plan and execute OS patching activities manualautomated
Perform patch validation and rollback if required
Execute hardware firmware upgrades on a quarterly basis aligned with OEM guidelines

Experience in migration transformation programs is preferred

Exposure to Azure OCI environments
Experience with migration tools Carbonite Azure Migrate etc
Basic knowledge of monitoring tools SCOM SolarWinds etc
