We are seeking a Workday Extend Engineer to design, build, and maintain custom applications on the Workday Extend platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Workday functional teams, and integration architects to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions that extend Workday’s core capabilities.
This role requires a strong understanding of Workday architecture, extend development, and enterprise integration patterns, along with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and deploy applications using Workday Extend
· Build and maintain custom UI components, business logic, and workflows
· Develop and consume Workday integrations (REST, SOAP, Workday APIs)
· Collaborate with Workday functional consultants (HCM, Finance, SCM) to align solutions with business processes
· Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards
· Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities
· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
· Contribute to technical documentation and solution design artifacts
· Follow Workday best practices for Extend development and lifecycle management
