About the role
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in SQL and experience with Workiva WDesk/Wdata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, generating insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes within the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and improve business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
- Utilize Workiva WDesk/Wdata to manage and present data effectively.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data findings.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.
- Assist in the development of data models and analytical frameworks.
- Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions and improve processes.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL is a deal breaker; candidates must demonstrate advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with Workiva WDesk/Wdata for data management and reporting.
- Proven ability to analyze large data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience in a business intelligence or analytics role.
