About the Role:We are looking for a proactive, result-driven Academic Counsellor to manage both walk-in (offline) and online student inquiries. The role involves counselling students and parents visiting the centre, as well as handling leads via calls and other channels to drive admissions.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Counsel walk-in students and parents at the centre regarding courses, programs, and career paths.2. Convert walk-in inquiries into admissions through effective counselling and relationship building.3. Handle online leads through calls, follow-ups, and cold calling.4. Guide prospective students and address their queries to drive conversions.5. Maintain regular follow-ups with leads to ensure closure.6. Update and manage lead data in CRM systems.7. Achieve daily/weekly/monthly admission targets.8. Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission processes.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in face-to-face counselling is highly preferred
- Comfortable with cold calling and handling online leads
- Target-oriented with a strong ability to convert leads
- Knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage
- Graduate in any discipline (English literature is preferred)
