About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
- Develop and support POS (Point of Sale) applications.
- Integrate POS hardware such as card readers, barcode scanners, receipt printers, and NFC/RFID devices.
- Work with REST APIs, JSON, and backend services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Optimise application performance, stability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product, QA, UI/UX, and backend teams.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience inAndroid Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Experience with Android Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room).
- Knowledge of POS systems and payment applications.
- Experience integrating POS hardware devices.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, SQLite/Room Database.
- Familiarity with MVVM/MVP architecture patterns.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills.
