Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, Android Architecture Components, and Unit Testing. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, modern Android applications using MVVM architecture and should be proficient in writing unit test cases to ensure code quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Build modern, responsive UIs with Jetpack Compose following Material Design principles.
- Develop applications based on MVVM architecture using Android Jetpack components such as LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, and WorkManager.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a strong focus on unit testing and code coverage.
- Implement and maintain unit test cases using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and ship new features and enhancements.
- Optimize applications for performance, usability, and scalability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in Android development.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java for Android development.
- Proficient in developing UI with Jetpack Compose.
- Solid understanding of Android Architecture Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, etc.).
