About the role
We are looking for a skilled Android developer with strong expertise in Kotlin (multiplatform) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance mobile applications and a solid understanding of modern Android architecture patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Implement and maintain app architecture using MVVM / MVC.
- Optimise application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth app functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Kotlin (multiplatform).
- Good knowledge of Java.
- Solid understanding of MVVM and MVC architecture patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Android SDK, UI/UX standards, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, etc. )
- Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks (Dagger/Hilt/Koin).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cross-platform mobile development.
