About the role
Roles & Responsibilities · Lead end to end full stack design and development of scalable, secure insurance applications across Health, Motor, Travel, and Property domains. · Architect, build, and maintain high performance applications using React.js/Next.js for frontend and Node.js/NestJS for backend services. · Translate complex business requirements into robust, compliant, and secure technical solutions, ensuring alignment with insurance regulations and data privacy standards. · Design and implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and data-access layers integrated with PostgreSQL, ensuring performance and reliability. · Drive deployment, monitoring, and optimization of applications on GCP, leveraging cloud native components for scalability and cost efficiency. · Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver seamless, high quality releases. · Provide technical leadership, conduct code/design reviews, and mentor junior developers to elevate team capability and engineering standards. · Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and long term preventive fixes for production systems. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, audit, and data security requirements, embedding them into engineering practices and delivery.
