About the role
We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software applications.
- Design and develop automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Maintain and update automated test frameworks.
- Perform regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Continuously improve test coverage and automation practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- [2+/5+] years of experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman for API testing).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
