About the role
- Work with the business unit in crafting its business strategy for growth, profitability and its flywheel impact on the broader platform.
- Understand the business in depth and define KPIs, engage in the planning activities for the business unit including prioritization of initiatives, allocate goals across the members of the business unit.
- Track performance of the business unit and its members on a regular cadence.
- Perform indepth analysis of the business unit in order to understand feature adoption and user behavior across the product in order to reduce CAC, improve retention, enhance customer experience and as a result increase the overall LTV of users on the platform.
- Engage in cost optimization initiatives by identifying gaps, streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.
- Improve quality of decision making by performing financial analysis of key decisions.
- Engage in evaluating incentive policies, referral policies, commercial agreements and pricing decisions.
- Build and track unit economics and P&L of the business unit.
- Finance professional (CA or Top Tier MBA) with minimum 3 years of work experience is a must have
- Should be proficient in excel and preparing financial models.
- Should have worked on crafting business strategies around growth and cost profitability.
- Should be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Should have conceptual thinking complemented by strong quantitative orientation with an innate ability to analyse business trends and provide rich insights
