About the role
• Lead engineer responsible for designing, implementing and supporting core global infrastructure for virtual applications and virtual desktops both on-premise and cloud-based. This includes but is not limited to Citrix Cloud, Citrix DaaS/CVAD with MCS, Citrix FAS/SSO, VMware vSphere, Flashstack hardware, Windows Operating Systems, FSLogix, Citrix App Layering (ELM), Wyse Thin Client devices.
• Proactive monitoring of Citrix DaaS/CVAD via Citrix Cloud Director/Monitor and ControUp.
• Tune and optimize Citrix DaaS/CVAD performance and scalability.
• Perform Tier 1/1.5 incident management to meet SLA/OLA.
• Join MIM calls for incident resolution.
• Respond to and fulfil service requests.
• Create and perform routine Level changes (updating Machine Catalogs and Delivery Groups, installing and publishing applications, GPOs. Scripting, etc.).
• Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance plans.
• Work across departments to make sure requirements are understood to ensure successful solutions.
• Work with Vendors to report and resolve issues.
• Maintain and keep current systems related documentation.
