The role requires deep architectural expertise, strong governance mindset, and hands-on experience in enterprise cloud environments.Certification RequirementsIntermediate-level AWS certification (Mandatory), such as:AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / ProfessionalEquivalent intermediate-level certification from AWS relevant to architectureKey Responsibilities1. Cloud Architecture & DesignDesign secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS architecturesDevelop high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD)Define architecture standards, guardrails, and best practices2. Infrastructure & Platform EngineeringArchitect solutions using AWS services such as:EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, EKS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormationDesign multi-account strategies using AWS Organizations3. Security & ComplianceImplement IAM governance and least privilege modelsEnsure compliance with industry security standardsArchitect secure networking models (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink)4. Cost Optimization & FinOpsImplement cost governance strategiesOptimize compute, storage, and network costsMonitor and improve cloud cost efficiency5. High Availability & Disaster RecoveryDesign multi-AZ and multi-region architecturesDefine backup and DR strategies (RPO/RTO alignment)Ensure system resilience and fault tolerance6. Migration & ModernizationLead cloud migration programs (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)Define cloud adoption roadmapsSupport application modernization initiatives7.
